Individual Counseling and Addiction Recovery

Zachary Strong, LCSW

Therapeutic Approach

I see my role as a therapist as helping you reconnect with your core self—the part of you that carries wisdom, strength, and clarity. I believe we all have an innate ability to heal and grow, and therapy can be a space to rediscover that.

My approach is strengths-based and collaborative, focused on helping you clarify what you want to change and supporting you in accessing the inner resources to make it happen. I often blend mindfulness and experiential tools with talk therapy, creating space for both reflection and hands-on exploration.

Together, we’ll work to better understand what you’re feeling, what you want, and how to move toward it. Much of my work has been with teens and adults navigating substance use and compulsive behaviors, mood challenges, and trauma.
